Look How Much I Have Grown
We put the "I Love Dad" onesie on for one of its last wearings and it made me think of the picture we took of one of the first times it was worn. Look at those legs....:)

Another Some Bunny
We went to Franklin's Pumpkin Fest this past Saturday. We forgot her sun hat, but we found another hat that happened to match the pink warm up suit she was wearing, which made it look like we were carrying around a baby bunny in the front carrier. The oohs and aahs made the hat worth every penny we spent on the handmade item:)
During the photo shoot, you will notice one picture with open eyes and the rest with closed eyes.....well we started the photo shoot, got two pictures and then had to have a meal break, which put our bunny into her morning nap.

Preparing for Dad's Favorite Holiday....
Halloween is dad’s favorite holiday. So we have a few outfits in preparation for Halloween…….the pumpkin sweatsuit outfit was taken in MI at the beginning of the week of Oct 22……the ghost and striped tight outfit picture was taken Oct 27. Don’t worry there will be costume pictures too……
Intro to the Exersaucer
MSU Homecoming
Dad and Mom got to go to Michigan State for the Homecoming tailgate. We saw old college friends and family and had a great time! Next to our tailgate was an inflatable Sparty…an irresistible photo op! Dalby stayed in Grosse Pointe while we played in East Lansing. She had a fun day of hanging out and venturing out to a few estate sales. She also demonstrated her crazy night eating pattern of feeding every hour until bedtime.

Our Michigan Trip
The trip to Michigan was wonderful! The first few days were summer type weather and then we moved into bundling up weather. Almost every night we wrapped up in warm clothes and took an evening stroll with Grandma, Grandpa and Mr. Whims. The Baby Bjorn is a favorite for Dalby. It seems she prefers the Baby Bjorn to the stroller. Often on the evening stroll she would take a nap for the duration of the walk.
Also on our trip to Michigan we were fortunate to see many family members. Great Grandma and Grandpa Luttenton enjoyed spending an afternoon of talking and eating(Dalby ate) with the newest Luttenton. Cousin Aricin also had a nice day of sharing his toys with his youngest cousin. He also could feel quite proud of himself because “the baby” still goes pody in her pants while he is pody trained now – what a big boy!!!

Packing for the North
Dalby and I are in Michigan visiting all of the grandparents. Ryan is traveling the next few weeks so we came up to MI for a fall visit. Who doesn't love a MI fall? The leaves changing, the apple cider, MSU tailgating, the humidity disappears, sweatsirt and shorts weather(my favorite).....It has been unseasonably hot for MI, but not to worry the temperature should drop this week. The crazy MI weather made it difficult to pack. We shipped coats ahead of time and then packed for both summer and fall. Here are a few shots as we packed.

Sip and See
Our Nashville friends organized a wonderful party for everyone to meet our little one. In the south this type of party is called a "Sip and See". The idea being that you sip tea and see the baby. So on Oct 6 we walked down to our neighbor's house, the Lynch's, were the party was being hosted and prepared to party! The hostesses had selected a menu of Blueberry Martinis(unbelievably good), pork tenderloin sandwiches, shrimp cocktail and various dips and desserts. The party started off smoothly until about a half an hour or an hour into the party Dalby started to scream. Our poor little girl screamed for two hours. She had some sort of belly ache and it took the magic of several party guests to calm her down. She finally calmed down as guests were leaving......Despite the fact that she screamed for most of the party, a fun time was had by all. Sadly, there are not too many pictures of the party.......but a diaper cake and an awesome umbrella stroller made it home for future use. There is also a shot of dad holding a half naked baby. (She lost her cute shower dress towards the end of her screaming fit. She had gotten herself so worked up and was so hot). Dad seemed to have the touch that evening. Everyone should also know that upon returning home at midnight Dalby woke up and was all smiles and chitter chatter, she ate and went to bed a happy camper, the little stinker!

Boyfriends
Several friends have had little boys lately, Courtney has Clinton who is 8 months and Jen has Chase(her second little boy) who was born 3 weeks after Marin Dalby. We were visiting Courtney and Clinton, and most of their time together is spent looking at each other or just coexisting.....at one point Clinton crawled over and gave Dalby a kiss...Courtney and I were oogling over that....then in the next moment, he head butted her:) As you can see in the pictures we were not feeling particularly modest, with our dress over our head for both shots. Her new thing is to eat her clothing and to completely drench the front of her outfit.

Chase and she just hung out under the play mat toys. Chase is so cute, smiling and talking to his toys. Lucas(Jen's older little boy) watched a little as we took some pictues, however he was quite busy with toys of his own.

The Family 5K
Pre-Race position - the warm-up.....
We had a great weekend! On Saturday the family completed the Franklin 5K at Night. We had committed to running the race awhile ago as a goal to start to get into shape. We began training after Heather and baby got the all clear to exercise. We bought a wonderful new jogging stroller and we were on our way. We train at a nice paved track near our house. The paved track keeps the ride smooth for Dalby. She rides in her car seat in the stroller, but still can get jostled around if we even walk on uneven ground. Actually Nashville has a few paved paths to walk/run, although we have only explored a few parks. Ryan has been in town this past week so training was a lot of fun as we could go out in the evening and walk/run. We went downtown Franklin Saturday night and as we got to our spot Dalby broke into a full cry (you can see the start of the meltdown in the picture of Dalby with our neighbors Alison and Kevin - who also ran the race). Well we just put her in the stroller and started walking before the race and she feel right asleep. She often sleeps during the runs/walks. Cousin Adam ran the race and you can also see the fans who were in attendance for the race (Aunt Jackie, Kristen, Ryan and Ryleigh(who, as always managed to stay awake and happy for the entire social event)). A good time was had by all and hopefully there will be another 5K that will allow strollers so the Luttenton family can run/sleep again!
