Pumpkin "picking"
Our version of "pumpkin picking" this year was not a trip to the local pumpkin patch.....as it looks in the pictures but a 5 minute drive to the local hardware store....but I thought the pics looked like we went picked our own pumpkins from the patch:)

Halloween outfits
One preschool day after the 10am feeding I decided to dress the two younger ones up in a few of the Halloween clothes I have and take a picture. I did this with Dalby and decided it would be "fun" to do with Charlie and Quinn. So, we got into clean diapers, clothes and set-up the black felt and bouncy seats. Lesson learned on how to set-up the felt.....do not drape the felt so that the ceramic Halloween bowl is holding the black felt on the table so that your strong boy can pull it down almost on his head and have it shatter on the black felt and floor. So we moved locations for the photo shoot and the back drop changed......which worked out better anyway.....
I think this one looks like he said something funny and Quinn thinks it is pretty clever.

Cool Cats
These cats are too cool for their own good! Also, please note Dalby is wearing her butterfly shirt - AGAIN!!! As soon as that shirt is clean or even if it is not we are looking for the butterfly shirt. Sometimes the shirt doesn't get clean for awhile(not always intentional) but since we do at least one load of laundry a night the shirt has been clean more often. So sometimes when mom needs a break or would like to see her in another outfit the butterfly shirt conveniently disappears for a day or two. A cute shirt but it is fun to see her in other outfits:)

_____(fill in the blank) is hard, trying taking a picture of three smiling children looking at the camera."(modified line from Sue Sylvestor on "Glee") Below are some snapshots from photoshoots we have tried here at the house. The occasion for the first was they are all in monkey pjs. It seemed like a cuter idea then it turned out to be, especially because of the behavior of a certain 3 year old who was not happy about the monkey pjs. Notice our little Quinn - always ready for the camera and the perfect shot. Charlie is always squirming and Dalby is either crying or making faces.

A look often seen on Charlie's face as Dalby approaches. We are convinced that the youngest ones might have a nervous twitch their whole lives caused by Dalby approaching their faces way to fast or the loud noises produced as Marin Dalby drops things, makes toys sing or just runs through the house.

School Days
School has started this year and Dalby is loving it this year like she did last year. It is a good thing for all of us. Tuesday and Thursday mornings are BUSY around here as we get three kids dressed, feed, myself dressed and pumped, book bag packed and diapers changed and out the door to get to school on time. We have gotten a pretty good system down but each morning is always different :) A goal of mine is to get us all ready and out the door in time to walk to school(about a 30-45 minute walk).
