Good Morning!
Lately I have been finding our little girl on her knees in her crib playing with the decorative knobs. So Saturday morning when we heard some happy discussion over the baby monitor, Ryan went into peek at our little girl playing, only to find her standing and so proud of herself!

Can you find the baby in these pictures?
Dalby is definitely loving exploring. She managed to squeeze between the couch and the wooden sink that Grandpa D. made for her....she wanted to get to a toy that we had put away so that she couldn't get to it.......well she got stuck and then as you can see in the last picture...she started to get mad....but she did get the toy.

Look at me...
Dalby found her bouncy seat. She thought the bouncy seat was fun for a few minutes, then she was ready to be on the move again. (just thought a comparison shot was fun)
9 months old
What's this?
Oh the places we may go.....?
Something I know I will miss is the carseat carrier - what a wonderful invention! This car seat has given Ryan and I so much independence. When we would go out to eat we would just wait until she was asleep(she has taken some of her best naps in the carseat carrier), plop her in the car seat and head out to the restaurant of choice. Now our little girl (17lbs 14 ozs, 28 inches long as of today at her 9 month appointment) will soon be graduating from the carrier to the traditional car seat that stays in the car :( We will soon be missing the ability to "pack up the baby" and go. Dalby already sits in the high chair at restaurants and is pretty good, most of the time......

Tune-up
Another bath photo
Will the real Marin Dalby please stand up?
Dalby has been starting to pull herself up on the yellow block toy and on you if you are laying on the floor. She also can pull herself up to her knees on the coffee table so all you see is these little eyes popping up and then somehow a hand can manage to reach the things she is not supposed to have.....we are going to have to clear the coffee table. How is it that babies know what they can't have and that is what the want?
So much for that.....
So much for using the exersaucer as a block to the kitchen door.......I began wiping down the filthy high chair after a recent meal and let Dalby explore the living room. She usually is content crawling around the room I am in as long as I talk to her and we kind of play. She has a toy she enjoys playing with that usually stays with the exersaucer. The toy keeps her busy in the exersaucer when she gets bored in the exersaucer and I need a few extra minutes. Well I dragged the exersaucer into the living room to block the kitchen door(I don't let her crawl on our kitchen floor because it is gross - no matter how many times I mop it) and unbeknowest to me the toy stayed in the kitchen. Well our little crawler decided she wanted the toy and she figured out a way to get to it. She was not sneaky about getting to the toy because she did get frustrated on her journey. At one point I thought I was going to have to get into the exersaucer myself....but she figured it out.
