GO STATE!!!!!
So we are excited about the Spartan win and the fact that they get to play in Detroit this weekend!!!!! Uncle Damon is convinced the Spartan gear brings the team good luck, so we are committed to wearing the green and white to support our team. The truck in the first picture is a truck my dad made me when I was two. Now when I get the camera out Dalby automatically "smiles".

Curling up with a good book....
We still LOVE to read around here! A few favorites on her lap - the Baby Einstein Baby book and a cute pumpkin("bumpin") book. Also, the last shot reminds me of these days.....

March Madness
We LOVE cardboard boxes here! Any cardboard box is fair game. Our house can look like someone sprinkled our entire recycle bin throughout the house. So I don't know why I was so surprised when I was putting beer in the fridge, to get it cold for the MSU game, that the beer box would be of such interest. However I didn't think her playing with the beer box was worthy of a picture until she put the box in her grocery cart and started filling the box with all of her toys. Needless to say, at nap time the box went to the recycle bin outside:)

Go Spartans!
Go Michigan State! All dressed up in Spartan gear(from our cousin Aricin) and ready for the NCAA tournatment. We are lucky enough to have a few Spartan outfits, so don't be surprised if you see more throughout March Madness....hopefully the Spartans will win and allow us to wear the green and white Spartan dress.

Lunch anyone?
It is so fun to watch and see how play time changes! The imitation play is so cute!!!! Dalby walks around with her phone to her ear saying "Hi....Hi....Hi.” We talk to all of our relatives throughout the day and we talk to Daddy about 30 times a day on our play phone. She has several "favorite" baby dolls - "Baby"(pictured below), George("G-G")(Curious George is a constant companion throughout the day and night and by far her most loved stuffed animal) and Baby Rose(also "baby rrrr" who accompanies her at night). One of these 3 babies usually ends up in the booster chair at some point during the day with a lot of items on the table to play with or eat, on the changing pad, in the grocery cart or having a pair of Dalby’s shoes forced on their feet. The cutest story: We were playing tea party and eating fake food and Dalby stopped to pick up George and put his hands together so that George could pray….:)

Yuck!
Sorry for the lack of posts but I somehow picked up a horrible case of strep and have been down and out for the past week. I am just starting to feel a little "normal" again, although definitely not at 100%. So far it doesn't look like I have shared it with anyone in the house, but Ryan has quite a cough so we are just hoping that it stays a cough. I guess it is really unusual for anyone under 20 months to contract strep, so we are praying Marin Dalby doesn't show signs of strep anytime soon.

The Slide
Sliding is the BEST thing ever! Luckily we have a few playgrounds close to our house. The playground pictured is less then 1/2 mile away, although a lot of the toys are for bigger kids. The second playground is at this great park built for all ages. There are slides and a sandbox and swings and a walking path, it is heaven on earth for a 19 month old. Here are a few pictures from a couple of weekends ago.

I can do this...let me go down this HUGE slide...even though I would fly off the end because even when mommy and daddy go down with me we go REALLY fast!

Giddyup
Dalby got a horse for Christmas. She enjoys "riding" around the house. She also enjoys pushing it around the house and had started to use the stick as a weapon...which we put a "whoaaa" to.....

Dancing around her horse.
