Greetings
These pictures demonstrate the greeting/response we get when we ask the question "What are you doing Ms. Dalby?" We especially get the look when she is near the coffee table like she is in the second picture.....she always inches her way over to the coffee table and comes very close to hitting her head each time.

Safe Travels
Uncle Damon visited us last week for a night. He dropped his car off so we can watch it while he is in Iraq. He will be gone for at least 8 months to a year. So please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. While he was here we had a hat fashion show. We had ordered two sun hats - a medium and a large. The large hat(as you can see) almost fits Damon. The medium is on Dalby. Hopefully she grows into the hat.

My new dress
Grandma Dalby recently brought a new dress that she made. Dalby has worn it quite a bit, although it never fails that she messes up the onesie underneath it somehow. That particular onesie seems to be a magnet for messes. The flowers and polka dots on the dress are also a favorite conversation piece for her.

MMMMM....I think..
Last weekend was our first attempt at rice cereal. The first feeding went pretty well. We could tell we were done with eating when dad's gotee and glasses became more interesting then the food and the spoon. Rice cereal is now not necessarily something that is interesting anymore. I think we are going to try oatmeal and then after that mixing in a little something with more taste.

Cold Season
Cold season has hit the Luttenton house. We have been trying to nurse a little one back to health this past week. She has had a HORRIBLE cough and a lot of congestion. So much so that mom and dad have been "camping out" with her in the rec room at night. Although sleeping at night has not been that smooth. I thought that we were through the stage of not sleeping through the night, but I think not sleeping through the night with a sick child is MUCH worse then the early stages of parenthood. Now it feels as if the cold is being passed off to mom and dad....yuck. Pictures of the first bites of cereal will be posted soon!
