We love the new walking shoes and the bells on her toes. It is easy to find our little one anymore and if there is no jingling we need to find her.......We got the shoes a week or two ago and Dalby seems to be ok with her shoes. At first she wasn't so sure about the process of putting the shoes on, but now it is old hat :)
The second video is of Dalby saying "Hi". If she notices the camera too much then she usually attacks me. I will show her pictures on the camera and now when the camera comes out she wants to see the "dady"(translates "baby" or "daddy" depending on where she is pointing) on the camera.

"Sunny Days....Clouds Away"
9 am on weekday mornings - if we are home - you will often find us catching a bit of Sesame Street. I really like to catch the beginning of Sesame Street because Dalby loves the theme song and of course - dances to it. She also really likes Elmo. Which I have to admit I was never sure pre-kid why little ones like Elmo so much and I am still not sure what fascinates her with Elmo - but she loves Elmo on her diapers, on the diaper box, on grocery store packaging(which he is in more places then you realize) and on TV.

Step to it....
Dalby is a pretty cautious little walker/stepper. She is getting pretty good and isn't afraid to try.......even to try to carry something almost as big as she is.....

Dad has the BEST snacks....
A good read
Trail of Toys
What a mess! Our house, especially the kitchen where the tupperware is located always looks like there was a plastic container explosion. By the end of the day there are plastic lids and containers all over the house. Now when you are putting food away and looking for tupperware you better check the toy basket:) I caught these pictures and thought them quite fitting to show a trail of toys. Another reason for scattered toys(besides the obvious of a crawling baby) is because Dalby likes to push the set of train cars(in the last picture) around the house. She usually puts her hands on the cross bar and gets on her knees and pushes. She fills the car up with toys and unloads as she goes. Lately instead of her knees Dalby has been standing up and pushing looking like she is doing the bear crawl.

"Step by Step"
These videos were taken last week. Dalby is moving pretty well with the walker and even took her first shuffle steps on Tuesday.
I just love the view from the back....and if you listen carefully you can hear the southern form of "Bye". We have a little southern belle. Dalby's "Hi" and "Bye" have quite a draw to them.
