These Last Two Weeks

We realize that our postings to the blog over the past two weeks have been less then desirable for the loyal Dalby following :) We are doing well but have been a little busy. The first of the last two weeks Ryan traveled. He had traveled a few of the previous weeks, but this was the first week he was traveling with Dalby and I home without relatives visiting. It was scary going into the week, but with wonderful supportive family phone calls and the Battle Avenue team of neighbors, the week, while exhausting, was tackled with success.

So this last week, with Ryan home, Dalby battled a little bit of a virus. Which as the parents, we would not classify this as a "little bit" of anything. The doctor's report was, however tough, to just wait the virus out, which we all did and are all doing well now. We did learn at the doctor's office our little one is now 10 lbs 6 oz and 22" long. It already makes us look back to a few weeks ago and try and remember Dalby at 7lbs 4 oz and 20" long.

Battle Avenue Run or Ride Event

Last Saturday morning the Mullaly crew organized a fun run for the Battle Avenue neighbors, providing coffee, breakfast burritos and the official referee(Kevin). As you can see from the pictures, all neighbors and family members participated and a great time was had by all. Event results are still being determined as the race was too close to call.
