Babysitting

This is kind of a long movie of Dalby "babysitting". For some reason the day I taped this she felt that the bottle must go on top of the piano. Also, "melwe" is milk, which is what she calls the baby bottle.

Happy Easter - again?

We continue to have Easter in our house - or at least the egg hunt portion. We re-hide the eggs and Dalby finds them. Re-hiding the eggs consists of her following me around the room as I place the eggs in semi-hiding spots and if she can keep up with me she just picks up the eggs as we go. Who wouldn't want to sleep with their plastic eggs?

We had a fun Easter! We started off the day with an Easter Egg hunt at home where the eggs were filled with stickers. Then we headed off to church and the Easter Egg hunt where the eggs were filled with candy! At church we were grouped with the four and unders. We were told how many eggs we could find and set loose in the courtyard. There are some fast egg hunters! Ms. Dalby is a little slower and more precise. Each egg that she found had to be inspected and any grass had to be removed before it could be put in her basket. We found our fair share of eggs and have discovered that Dalby enjoys M&Ms :) After the Easter Egg hunt we came home and Ryan made breakfast. We did things around the house the rest of the day and went to the park near our house in the evening. What a wonderful day!

Where's .......?

Can you find the baby in the picture? An old game that is new again is "Where's Dalby?" She is starting to hide, especially in this little nightstand. Another way she "hides" and let's you know she wants to play is by closing her eyes and swinging her head around(much like Stevie Wonder) and saying "Dalby.....Dalby" and the she opens her eyes and looks surprised you have found her:)

Radar

Radar(aka Marin Dalby Luttenton) can hear a plane before I can, she can even spot the planes way up in the sky. Playing stops and we watch the plane for a bit. Playing even stops inside when we hear a plane. We discuss the plane(a lot of times doing what you see in the video) and then continue playing. There are quite a few planes that fly over our house, Ryan says we are in a landing pattern for the Nashville Airport. So it is quite fun for all of us to hear and see the planes.

Baby Bed?

We just moved the bed that Grandpa and Grandma Dalby made into the kitchen next to Dalby's kitchen. She loves having the bed in the kitchen versus her bedroom. We have to watch her because she sometimes feels the bed is made for her....

George is under the blue blanket somewhere...

Bubbles

We have the "Finding Nemo" character at our house now. You know the fish in the tank with Nemo that is obsessed with bubbles so all he says is, "Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles....." Dalby has so much fun with the bubble wand. Even inside she has a few purple pill boxes(thanks to her Aunt L and GSK) that she uses as her bubble wand and she dips it in tupperware containers, her toy cups, etc and then pretends to blow bubbles when she can't be outside(she is holding onto one of the pill boxes in the video and in the pictures).
