Crashed Out

A familiar position after eating for Dalby….she is quite a stubborn burper and chooses instead to crash out on our shoulders making the eating process quite long.

Sleeping Baby

Dalby sleeping in her bassinet. However, lately bassinet sleeping has not been working for the little one. The bassinet is great but Dalby has some trouble breathing laying down. She has found our arms(which we don’t mind) or her car seat as comfortable sleeping locations.

First Bath

The first bath was a few days ago. Thankfully little Dalby’s parents had some help on how to tackle the first cleaning. The first bath pictures look similar to the second and third bath……..the sponge bath is not a popular event for at least one of us in the Luttenton house.

Welcome to the World!!!

Our new arrival - Dalby Luttenton. (aka Marin Dalby Luttenton)

She arrived on 07-07-07 at 12:13pm - 7 lbs 4 ozs, 20" long. We are all doing well and loving our new addition. More later on our arrival but we wanted to get some pictures to friends and family!!!

Recent Housework - Roof and Landscaping

We have recently completed some pretty major home improvement work. The roof and the gutters are complete! So now we can start on the landscaping. As you can see Ryan has done a GREAT job on the right side of the house landscaping. He weeded, prepped and planted the whole area all in 90 degree plus temperatures and humidity. He did have a helpful water girl, tool gopher and weed spotter. We put pine needles down and soaker hoses down too since we can't seem to get rain in TN.

Baby L's Nursery

The baby's nursery is ready - We are just waiting for the baby!

We got most of the pictures hung this weekend. The picture hung by the crib is one Heather's "gaga" made and it was in her childhood bedroom. The picture on the floor is one Heather took of a carousel. It is not in its final spot yet, because that is yet to be determined. The basket under the changing table already contains plenty of diapers. The pillow on the shelf is one that Heather's Aunt, Uncle, cousin and her husband gave us at the GP shower. It was a pillow we had spotted in downtown Franklin when the Damon family was in at the end of March. The blank picture frame in the corner is waiting for a picture of Baby L. The pictures near the chair are of a playground toy - Dumbo - taken one day when we were on a day trip to a nearby client. The other picture frame contains one of our favorite sayings. We will say this to our little one often as we think of our far off relatives.
