I scream, you scream, we all scream for...

ICE CREAM ("Acky")!!! Ryan found these great little containers of ice cream. They are the perfect size for dessert and Dalby LOVES them! Her outfit and the table usually end up wearing more of the ice cream but she is so happy eating her treat.

Father's Day

We had a nice time at the park. Although we were REALLY warm and didn't last long outside because it is sooooo hot and humid!

Cleaning the sand out of the sandals per Dalby's request. We may be in trouble for our trip to the beach!

Child Labor

I have always waited until Dalby goes down for her nap to try and mop the kitchen floor. I have to admit though that by the time she goes down for her nap(if she does go to sleep-see previous post) I am not necessarily in the mood to mop the floor. Not that you are ever in the mood to mop. So I decided to try and mop the floor while Dalby was awake. We have mopped twice and so far it is pretty successful. The only major problem is that Dalby doesn't understand slippery yet. Although after this last mopping effort and her slipping three times, she may get it now. I didn't realize Dalby would like to help until I came in the other day from dumping the dirty water outside and found this.....

The Stroller

The other day in the mail we received an early birthday present....and we love our new stroller.

Two important things in life - pizza and a phone.

Nap - HA!

Lately it seems napping has been a bit more of a struggle. Dalby will talk, read, fake laugh, watch for the "neme"(mailman), etc in her crib. Basically she does everything but nap. But everyday for about an hour she gets to have a rest time. Most days she is fine for the hour with an every once in awhile shout of "Mommy, no" and a few tears. However the day the picture was taken she had quite a difficult time in her bed and as you can see she was busy trying to undress herself.

Night Night for everyone

Pretend bedtime for everyone - "Cack, cack(quack, quack), Baby and Dalby". And then a little video of some singing.

Bed time doesn't last that long for one.....

Ready to go?

Car rides, stroller rides, playing outside....when you mention are you ready to go? She usually looks for a purse and her keys and then we are on our way.
