Cool Cats

These cats are too cool for their own good! Also, please note Dalby is wearing her butterfly shirt - AGAIN!!! As soon as that shirt is clean or even if it is not we are looking for the butterfly shirt. Sometimes the shirt doesn't get clean for awhile(not always intentional) but since we do at least one load of laundry a night the shirt has been clean more often. So sometimes when mom needs a break or would like to see her in another outfit the butterfly shirt conveniently disappears for a day or two. A cute shirt but it is fun to see her in other outfits:)

The occasion for the first was they are all in monkey pjs. It seemed like a cuter idea then it turned out to be, especially because of the behavior of a certain 3 year old who was not happy about the monkey pjs. Notice our little Quinn - always ready for the camera and the perfect shot. Charlie is always squirming and Dalby is either crying or making faces.

We are convinced that the youngest ones might have a nervous twitch their whole lives caused by Dalby approaching their faces way to fast or the loud noises produced as Marin Dalby drops things, makes toys sing or just runs through the house.

School Days

School has started this year and Dalby is loving it this year like she did last year. It is a good thing for all of us. Tuesday and Thursday mornings are BUSY around here as we get three kids dressed, feed, myself dressed and pumped, book bag packed and diapers changed and out the door to get to school on time. We have gotten a pretty good system down but each morning is always different :) A goal of mine is to get us all ready and out the door in time to walk to school(about a 30-45 minute walk).

It's football season!!!!!

Although we aren't in Michigan to experience my favorite season....tailgating.....we are getting to enjoy a few Spartan games in TN. This is what we wore to gear up for the Notre Dame game....however by game time we had been through a few outfits already and these had been in the laundry for most of the day.......

Camp out

Let's build a tent......we are constantly constructing things in the house. Whether it be simply a blanket laid out on the ground that is a pool, a car or a school bus with all of the animals and toy supplies stacked atop it you will need for your entire lifetime or a house or a place to hide. She loves making things with her Daddy because he goes all out and makes the best camp outs. This one particularly was neat because if you look closely the Spartan flag flies proudly right in the middle of their tent.

Water Fun!

It is HOT here in TN! About the only thing you can do is be inside or in or near the water. We have been blessed this summer with LOTS of visitors so Dalby has gotten some nice time playing in the water while the babies stay inside. First was Bobby's(pre-school classmate) party. There was a water slide, bouncy house and baby pool. Dalby loved the bouncy house and the baby pool. We were very proud of her for trying the slide but being splashed in the face while going fast is just not her cup of tea. The next pictures are of our

fun neighbors - Audrey and Whitaker. Audrey's momma invited us over to play in the water. We laugh because our girls tend to run around the sprinkler while Whitaker tends to get right in the middle of the water and pick up the sprinkler. Anything he can do to get the girls wet:) Then on Dalby's birthday we got invited to Water Park Wednesday at our friends Clinton and Heidi's house. Clinton's momma hosted a wonderful water party complete with snacks, lunch and cupcakes for Dalby's birthday. What fun all of the kids had!
